Our Mission
To advance the education of children from low-income families via scholarships for post-secondary education in India and Canada.
The Scholarship Program was created in 2005 when foundation members endorsed an initiative put forward by Rajeshwar Utkhede on December 27, 2005. The Fund was established from a one time donation made by Rajeshwar Utkhede and Aruna Utkhede in the amount of $ 100,000.00. The annual interest earned on the investment of this contribution determines the amount and number of scholarships awarded from the perpetual Trust Fund. This program is developed to assist children from low income families who have the motivation and potential to pursue post-secondary education. The Fund typically generates enough revenue to support scholarships in India and Canada ranging from $200 to $1000.00 each.
